Our Advanced Biking First Aid/CPR course qualifies as the NICA approved (8 hr) Advanced First Aid requirement needed by all Level 3 coaches. If you are outside the 1 hour timeframe to definitive medical care, please consider a 16 hr WFA class. If you are unsure contact your head coach.

All course registrations close at 5pm the Sunday prior to the course. Please make sure to register in advance.
How to Certify and get your Certificate
Sign up for your in-person course using the registration form.
Begin studying for your course by logging on to www.bikemed.org. Here you will find the textbook, practice tests and podcasts. Typical study time is approx. 4 hours, but could vary depending on the depth of your study. The certification exam will not be available until after your in-person course.
Attend your in-person course. During the course, your instructor will provide a password for the certification exam.
After your in-person course, take your certification exam found on www.bikemed.org.
You will get 2 attempts to pass
There are 40 questions
It is 40 minutes in length
You need 75% to pass
It must be taken in one sitting
Questions are chosen from a question bank
